Hey there fashionistas!
It’s getting chilly outside and I’m sure we’re all still clinging to thoughts of our summer clothing favorites and wishing we could drag them right into the fall season. I may be speaking for myself but I still love some of my summertime garments and guess what? I turned them into transition pieces! How you ask did I do that? I’ll tell you .. Get ready for a Lesson In Style .
1. Autumn Rush Maxi: This colors of this maxi skirt are charged up with some crazy energy. At first glance you’d think, “This maxi is charged with summer energy.” Yes! You are right, but it can also double as great statement skirt for the fall. What I love about it is the ultra feminine length and willowy structure. The best way to skirt this piece into your fall wardrobe is topping it off with a tough black leather jacket and a pair of opaque tights. Skirt: $12
2. Native Beauty Dress: The pattern of this dress is so funky and hipster chic with a sexy twist! The colors aren’t too “summer vibrant” so it won’t be hard to turn this into a cute fall outfit. A super comfy (and chunky) waist length cardigan would really flow well with this dress. You can also throw on a cool crew neck sweater over the dress, and wear it as a skirt. Include some great necklaces and you’ve got yourself a cute date night or holiday party ensemble! Dress: $20
3. Siren: This blouse is so festive and perfect for the upcoming Christmas season. Now, I want you to imagine this awesome blouse paired with mustard corduroy pants. Then imagine yourself walking around on campus in this outfit, under the beautiful fall leaves. Picture perfect. And no, you will not look like ketchup and mustard. Top: $13
4. Crocodile Hunter Brooch: We all love animals and most of keep them as pets. As much as we think Crocodiles are um … adorable it’s safe to say they aren’t ideal pets. This cool croc brooch can give your outfit that extra touch it may need. I suggest a classic button down shirt and pleated skirt. Everyone you come across will wonder, “Who’s the hot professor?.” I’m just kidding, we don’t look old enough to be anything more than professors of style. Brooch: $10
I hope my advice was helpful and gave some insight on transition pieces and fall trends. I leave you with wishes of style successs. Godspeed my fashion Jedi’s.
Get ‘em before they’re gone. And I must give kudos to @jojogolighty for a beautifully written post. =]

The crisp temperature is perfect for the debut of your best autumn ensembles. You have already seen some great behind-the-scenes footage from the photo shoot we had on Sunday. Thanks to our fantastic photographer, Sekaya Harris, we got the pictures back in no time and we’d be mad not to share! We are excited to present our second collection which will hit the boutique faster than you can say, ‘cardigan’. Featuring bright blazers, flowy skirts, adorable sweaters, and much more, we know you will find the pieces irresistible.
91,123 notes ♥Ten Years Later: A Tribute 9/11
My favorite 9/11 tribute in New York City can be found in Bryant Park. 2,819 empty chairs on the lawn facing the site where the World Trade Center once stood, one chair for every life lost. The number of empty chairs captures the enormity of the lives lost and the stark emptiness of it just drives home the point that I hope is never forgotten.
2,819 people were here one moment and gone the next. 2,819 went to work or boarded a plane one morning ten years ago thinking it would be another ordinary day and they never came home.We will never forget 9/11.
Hello there!
As you may already know, today Craze had a photo shoot for our new merchandise. Let’s do a run down of our craze-ie schedule!
The models were FAB! They did such a wonderful job of working the camera and working with us to make adjustments to their sassy ensembles. We also thank them for being punctual, we had a huge weekend at Howard University!
We had the best playlist to get us going, if you haven’t heard Vicki Leekx mixtape, you need to listen! It will jump start any early morning. The models, Craze founders, photographers, (and myself of course) were all dancing and pumped!
The models hit the ground running, it took them no time to start serving up their most sultry stares and angelic smiles for our photographer. They were breaking necks as we took the photo shoot outdoors. Stop and stare was the name of the game!
I’d love to share more with all you
craze-ielovely customers, but this is only a sneak peek. There is more to come ..
I couldn’t have asked for anything more with this photoshoot. Great models, a great photographer, and a great time. I stressed for nothing. I am SO eager to see the pictures! Be on the lookout for our new collection. It will be launched very, very soon.
